The raw material of aluminum foil blister is metal aluminum. It is made of electrolytic aluminum with a purity of 99% through a special rolling process. The products produced can have excellent characteristics such as odorless, good conductivity, light-shielding, moisture resistance, and gas barrier properties. At the same time, because of the special metal crystal space structure of aluminum foil, it can block any gas, water vapor, and light. (1) The number of pinholes in medical aluminum foil cannot fully meet the requirements. The number of pinholes of aluminum foil determines the performance of aluminum foil packaging, and also determines whether this packaging can truly isolate air, water vapor, and light. If these factors are not handled properly, they can easily penetrate the packaging layer and reduce the efficacy of the medicine. Therefore, for medicinal aluminum foil, the international standard requires no pinholes with a diameter greater than 0.3 mm, and pinholes with a diameter of 0.1-0.3 mm cannot be more than 1 per square meter. This is a process with high technical requirements.

(2) Medical aluminum foil has an uneven thickness and low tensile strength. If the thickness of the aluminum foil is unbalanced, the amount of adhesive applied during the coating process will not reach the standard, which will affect the heat-seal strength of the aluminum foil and PVC. The tensile strength is low, and it is easy to break the foil after winding tension, which is not conducive to production.
